The 23 Lines Story
23 Lines is the brainchild of James Meyer his sister-in-law Crystal Meyer (the only type of child that it's okay to have with your sister-in-law). A passionate user-experience designer, James worked on many different projects to hone his skills. When he learned that his brother had married a talented designer, a passionate front-end developer, and all around humble girl named Crystal, the conversations started about eventually running a freelance business together and, as soon as the stars aligned, 23 Lines was born.
We both love the art and craft of designing and the joy of building that design into functional sites and apps. We want to make the web a more beautiful place but, more importantly, we love seeing people succeed with their business because of a solid idea and an elegant, simple design.
During his college years, James discovered he had a passion for design, and started learning all he could about it. He learned from the best and brightest designers around while working at Ominture, Adobe, and DigiCert – and now he is looking to continue living his passion with 23 Lines.
What began as a challenge between high school friends to make the least awful looking website grew into an absolute love for logo and web design for Crystal. She brings over 16 years of experience with web design and code to 23 Lines, from the simplest sites to large, complex projects.
